T-Mobile to Offer iPhone 5 for $0 Down, Cost is Paid During Term of Contract

T-mobile U.S.A. is really taking their un-carrier status seriously. The carrier has Friday announced that several 4G LTE-capable devices can now be had for $0 down with a two-year contract. Over the course of the contract, the phone will be paid for with a monthly payment, which notably doesn?t include interest and may be a good and viable deal for many.

Apple?s iPhone 5 handset is a part of the special event, as well as other popular smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S4, and T-mobile U.S.A. subscribers can sign a contract to own the iPhone 5 for $0.00 down. Over the course of the 24-month commitment, the subscriber will pay $27 per month extra, on top of the carrier?s service bills, to pay for the iPhone 5 handset in full.

The event is only for a limited time. Potential subscribers have the opportunity to sign up as early as tomorrow, Saturday July 27th, but the date the window closes is unknown, as the carrier never mentioned when the event will end. Users can take advantage of the promotion, as well as the new JUMP upgrade program that the carrier announced a couple of weeks ago:

This limited-time promotion is available starting tomorrow, July 27, 2013. In addition to the promotion, customers also can take advantage of T-Mobile's groundbreaking upgrade program, JUMP!(TM), which enables them to sign up to upgrade their phones when they want, up to twice a year as soon as six months from enrollment. T-mobile goes on to note that their 4G LTE network covers 116 metropolitan areas, and that the company aims to cover 200 of them by the end of the year. Those that don't have 4G LTE will still be able to drop down to 4G HSPA+.
