Jaguars owner Shahid Khan in talks to buy Fulham Football Club

JAMES CRICHLOW

Shahid Khan realized one of his life dreams when he bought the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now he is reportedly in talks to buy a soccer club in London and realize another lifelong dream.

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan is reportedly in talks to buy another football team, but this team uses a different kind of ball.

The Daily Mail, a London newspaper, is reporting Khan is in advanced negotiations to buy the Fulham Football Club, an English Premier League team based in London.

The purchase price would be around $200 million and the Daily Mail reports an announcement is due by Friday.

If Khan does buy the team, it would be the latest in London ventures for the Jaguars head man. The team is set to play four games over the next four years in London and it has made several moves to maneuver itself to take advantage of playing across the pond, including hiring a director of UK partnerships.
