SAN FRANCISCO
Hines Promotes 3 in San Francisco Office

Hines, an international real estate investment, development and investment firm, promoted three executives in its west regional office in San Francisco.

George Clever (pictured far left) was named senior managing director. He joined Hines in 1995 as an assistant project manager. Clever later relocated to San Francisco and served as a project manager. Currently, he shares responsibility for Hines? new business activities in Northern California.

Cameron Falconer (middle) was appointed senior managing director. He joined Hines in Los Angeles in 1997. The following year, he relocated to San Francisco as a project manager. Currently, he shares responsibility for Hines? new business activities in Northern California.

Paul Brenner (end) was promoted to vice president--controller. He joined Hines in 1998 as a controller, and was promoted to senior controller in 2006. Since then, he has shared responsibility for all property finance and accounting matters, including all real estate operations and development activity totaling 27 million square feet in the firm?s west region.

NEW YORK CITY
Related Cos. Selects Blau as CEO

New York-based development firm Related Cos. appointed Jeff Blau (pictured) as chief executive officer. Blau has been with the company since 1990 and served as its president for the last 12 years. As CEO he will control overall management of the firm.

Blau succeeds founder Stephen Ross who will continue his duties as executive chairman. Ross will focus on global business strategy and development and oversee the execution of Hudson Yards, a 13 million-square-foot project.

Related also promoted Bruce Beal Jr. to president and Kenneth Wong as chief operating officer and director of international development. Beal joined the firm in 1995 and formerly served as executive vice president. Wong returned to Related in 2008 and most recently served as vice chairman. He has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience and has represented more than $20 billion worth of assets.


COLUMBUS, CLEVELAND, CINCINNATI
Latessa To Oversee CBRE's OH Operations

CBRE Inc. promoted John Latessa to senior managing director of its Ohio operations. He will assume responsibility for the Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati markets, along with increased executive management responsibilities.

Latessa joined CBRE in 2008 as the managing director of the Detroit office, where he oversaw 500 professionals.

?John is a strong and highly regarded leader who has built on CBRE?s market leadership position in Detroit over the past five years,? said Mike Gerard, CBRE?s central division president. ?He has demonstrated deep knowledge of our multi-faceted client services platform and the comprehensive, valued-added solutions CBRE can deliver for investor and occupier clients. Our operations in Ohio will greatly benefit from his leadership.?

The senior commercial real estate broker previously served a principal and managing director at JFK Investment Co. LLC, and has also held positions at Kelly Services Inc., Hines Interest LP and Grubb & Ellis (now Newmark Grubb Knight Frank).


SOUTH FLORIDA
NGKF Expands South Florida Capital Group

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank?s Capital Group added a team of investment sales and debt placement professionals in its Miami office.

Joining the firm are Adam L. Greenberg CCIM and Michael Lapointe CFA as executive managing directors, and Michael Noll AIA as an associate.

Prior to joining NGKF, Greenberg and Lapointe held senior positions with the BayBridge companies based in Florida. Formerly a managing director with BayBridge, Greenberg has specialized in the brokerage of entitled and un-entitled development opportunities, condominium conversions, office, retail and portfolio sales. In his capital advisory role, he has also represented clients with senior, mezzanine and equity capital placement. Lapointe is former president of the BayBridge companies, has been involved in over $400 million in financing and brokerage transactions in the state.

Noll previously served as the principal of an architecture and construction consulting firm, M3 Design + Development, for the previous seven years, along with holding a position at BayBridge.


SAN FRANCISCO
Anderson, Ivie Join JLL in San Francisco

Jones Lang LaSalle deepened its brokerage team in San Francisco, landing a pair of experienced real estate dealmakers formerly with The CAC Group. Steve Anderson, a former principal with CAC, was named managing director, and Bryan Ivie was appointed vice president.

Considered one of the most productive brokerage teams in San Francisco over the past five years, Anderson and Ivie represent a number of high-profile tenants and landlords. The new hires were announced by Elizabeth Hearle, JLL's Pacific Northwest market director.

Anderson has completed more than 5.5 million square feet of office lease transactions in San Francisco throughout his career and participated in investment sales valued at more than $550 million. Ivie is also an accomplished broker with experience in both tenant rep and agency leasing business. A former Olympian, Ivie competed in the 1992 and 1996 Summer Games as a volleyball player.


CHICAGO
RKF Adds Adney to Chicago Office

Retail specialist Lorraine Adney joined the Chicago office of Robert K. Futterman & Associates as vice president. Adney has extensive experience in local, national and international representation for both retailers and owners.

She previously served as the director of the Midwestern division at The McDevitt Co. where she assisted national and international brands in retail networks in the U.S. and Europe. Adney has worked with brands such as Marc Jacobs, Urban Outfitters Anthropologie, L'Occitane en Provence and Eileen Fisher.

RKF is an independent real estate firm specializing in retail leasing, investment sales and consulting services. In May, RKF opened its Chicago office as part of its expansion into key urban markets nationwide. This is the New York-based firm's seventh office.


LOS ANGELES, SAN DIEGO
Jones Lang LaSalle Adds 2 Retail Brokers

Jones Lang LaSalle expanded its retail initiative with the hiring of David Thomas (pictured far left) in downtown Los Angeles and Bryan Cunningham (left) in San Diego. The new vice presidents will work in retail brokerage as JLL continues to increase its focus and resources on retail tenant solutions (RTS) to provide tenant representation in additional to its traditional focus on landlord representation.

Thomas' previous position was as a senior vice president at a major retail real estate firm where he worked with landlords and tenants on lease negotiations, business plans, market research and strategic analysis. During his career, he has led leasing efforts for more than 4 million square feet of new developments with a total value of $600 million. Thomas is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Since January 2010, Cunningham has completed more than 150 transactions, with a combined total consideration of approximately $100 million. CoStar named him a Power Broker in 2010 and 2011.


CHICAGO
CBRE Taps Milonas as VP

Jon Milonas was promoted from senior associate to vice president within CBRE's Office Occupier Group. He is the youngest broker to be promoted to vice president in the occupier group within the past five years.

Milonas represents office tenants, providing strategic consulting, process management and negotiation services. His clients include Morningstar, McGraw-Hill Cos. and Northwestern Mutual.

He has closed 75 real estate transactions resulting in a total transaction volume of more than $152 million.
