Wells Fargo VA Mortgage Rates 2013 | Wojdylo Finance

The Wells Fargo FHA streamline refinance resource I created has been quite popular over the last few weeks so I thought it would be useful to offer an alternative to an FHA home loan. ?Veterans and current members of the military can take advantage of VA home loans. ?Some would be smart to look for Wells Fargo VA mortgage rates in 2013 as average 15 and 30 year fixed mortgage rates have been very close to an all time low. ?Some may find that mortgage interest rates for a 30 year fixed home loan are below 3.5% in their area. ?Make a note that credit score and financial history determines the mortgage rate applied to a home loan.

// ]]>

VA Home Loan Options for Veterans

Before going into any type of mortgage home loan decision it is important to recognize there are several different types of home loans. ?If you are a veteran it would be advisable to look at the VA home loan options offered by any bank or financial institution. ?You will be able to avoid PMI and you could get financing for the entire home without having to spend money on a down payment. ?These are just a few of the many reasons individuals should consider a VA home loan in 2013 and beyond.

wells-fargo-va-mortgage-rates

There are currently over 7000 financial institutions insured by the FDIC and many of these companies offer VA home loan products. ?While banks offer VA home loans they will also offer FHA and conventional home loans as well. ?Feel free to contact Wells Fargo or any bank to see what type of mortgage would be best for a specific financial situation. ?It might be smart to sit down with a mortgage calculator to determine how much money will be saved with mortgage payments if you take out a VA home loan vs an FHA home loan.

Luckily, there are a number of great resources online that will help individuals find information on VA and FHA home loans. ?Wells Fargo is one of the largest financial institutions in the country and they have a great page explaining all the options. ?Below is the resource that they currently have available as of March 2013:

FHA loan

FHA loan: Low downpayment options. Available for a variety of loan terms. Typically requires mortgage insurance.

Features

  • Available in a variety of?fixed-rate and adjustable-rate?loan options.
  • Has down payment options as low as 3.5%.
  • May allow you to use a gift or grant for all or a portion of the down payment or closing costs.
  • Lets you add extra features such as a?temporary buydown.

VA loan

VA loans: Financing for eligible service members. No-down-payment options available. One-time funding fee typically required.

Features

  • Provides financing for qualified veterans, reservists, active duty personnel, or eligible family members.
  • Available in a variety of?fixed-rate and adjustable-rate?loan options.
  • Has low and no down payment options.
  • Allows closing costs to come from a gift or grant.
  • Lets you add extra features such as a?temporary buydown.

Benefits

  • Requires less cash up-front for your down payment and closing costs.
  • Available for all income levels.
  • Allows a new buyer to take over the loan if you sell your home (subject to loan approval).
  • Allows a co-applicant to help you qualify even if the person doesn?t live in the home.

Benefits

  • Provides a wide range of rate, term, and cost options.
  • Doesn?t require monthly?mortgage insurance.
  • Provides the potential for minimal out-of-pocket expenses with seller contributions.

Considerations

  • You typically have to pay up-front and monthly?FHA mortgage insurance?premiums.
  • You can typically only have one FHA mortgage at a time.

Considerations

  • You typically have to pay a one-time?VA funding fee?that can be financed into the loan amount.
  • You can get financing for your primary residence only.

Take all of this information into consideration when looking to make a home purchase or to refinance at low costs. If looking for a cash out refinance opportunity I would strongly suggest educating yourself on this subject before making a final decision. You do not want to put yourself in a very bad financial position because you made a choice that was not so wise.

Mortgage Interest Rates Near All Time Lows

Over the last few months it has been the case that mortgage interest rates have dropped to all time low levels. ?These levels mean some borrowers have the change to get a 30 year fixed mortgage at an interest rate that is under 3.5%. ?It is important to note that not all borrowers will get rates this low but those who have made good financial decisions in the recent past will be able to save a huge amount of money when comparing interest rates of today to five years ago.

Looking at the long term chart of the 10 year treasury rate yield it is quite obvious that interest rates are at some of the most attractive levels in the history of the United States housing market. ?Rather than letting this opportunity pass you by I would strongly suggest contacting banks and financial institutions to see if there is any opportunity to save money moving forward. ?If you have a credit score that is above 750 and a debt to income ratio that is under 40% you should have no problems locking in to some of the lowest mortgage rates available right now.

Acknowledge that different areas and states of the country have different interest rates. ?The only way to get a 100% accurate rate quote is to submit an application to a lender today. ?Although this takes a little bit of time and effort it will likely be worth it in the long run. ?Remember to fill out the information as accurately as possible as this will speed up the process if you decide to get a mortgage with a specific bank or financial institution. ?If you have anything that is not 100% accurate on a mortgage application you will cause yourself many problems down the road.

Refinance Options to Save Money Today

Most people who go through the refinance process want to save money today. ?Unfortunately, you cannot submit a mortgage refinance application on a Tuesday and expect to start saving money on a Wednesday. ?This is just not how it works. ?It will take time to process the paperwork and you will have to wait for the next months payment to see the reduced interest rate and, hopefully, reduce monthly mortgage payment. ?As I have stated many times on mortgage home loan related resources, I would strong suggest using a mortgage calculator to make certain the most savings available is completed with a refinance.

// ]]>

It never hurts to throw in some hypothetical numbers just to see how much a mortgage payment will be each and every month. ?By doing this, most homeowners will be able to much better understand if it is worth it to complete the refinance process today. ?The general rule of thumb is that homeowners should save at least one full percentage point if they hope to benefit from refinancing in March of 2013 and beyond. ?If one full percentage point cannot be saved I would suggest looking for ways to save money elsewhere. ?Cutting back on eating out or clipping coupons is not a bad idea to save money until interest rates drop even more.

I would also suggest doing everything possible to avoid those high interest rate credit cards or unsecured personal loans. ?Unfortunately, many people see a low introductory rate on a credit card or personal loan and they do not recognize they could be digging themselves a hole if they do not pay off the loan by the time the introductory rate ends. ?This new interest rate can sometimes skyrocket to 20% or more if you have a low or poor credit score. ?If your credit score is questionable at all I would consider coming up with ways to pay cash for most of your items until you can get these high interest rate debts paid off.

Wells Fargo Down Payment Loan Options

When buying a new home many first time home buyers ask how much they should apply as their down payment. ?Unfortunately, there is no tried and true answer. ?Some will say 20% while others will say 10%. ?In all reality, you will want to put down enough to avoid PMI. ?That said, VA home loans allow borrowers to avoid PMI so they don?t have to put down as much. ?It is always a good idea to look at your current financial situation before making any big decisions when it comes to money down. ?This is also very true with a vehicle or car purchase. ?Unfortunately, some people want to put 30% or 40% down and they stretch themselves thin when it comes to other financial areas of concern.

There are a few financial products offered by Wells Fargo and any bank that can help those looking to put a down payment on a home. ?Bad credit unsecured personal loans are not a good choice for this as they often have very high interest rates. ?It may be smart to consider other types of low interest rate loans if it will help save money in other areas of your life. ?Crunch the numbers before making a major financial decision when it comes to a Wells Fargo VA Home Loan.

Venezuela sets presidential election for April 14

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) ? Venezuelans will vote April 14 to choose a successor to Hugo Chavez, the elections commission announced Saturday as increasingly strident political rhetoric begins to roil this polarized country.

The constitution mandated the election be held within 30 days of Chavez's March 5 death, but the date picked falls outside that period. Critics of the socialist government already complained that officials violated the constitution by swearing in Vice President Nicolas Maduro as acting leader Friday night.

Some people have speculated Venezuela will not be ready to organize the vote in time, but elections council chief Tibisay Lucena said the country's electronic voting system was fully prepared.

Tibisay announced the date on state television, appearing in a small inset as the main picture showed people filing past Chavez's coffin at the military academy in Caracas, where his body has lain in state since Wednesday.

Chavez's boisterous, passionate state funeral Friday often felt like a political rally for his anointed successor, Maduro, who eulogized him by pledging eternal loyalty and vowing Chavez's movement will never be defeated. Maduro is expected to become the candidate of Chavez's socialist party.

Ramon Guillermo Aveledo, coordinator of the opposition coalition, immediately followed the election announcement by offering his bloc's presidential candidacy to Henrique Capriles, the governor of Miranda state who lost to Chavez in October.

Mariana Bacalao, a professor of public opinion at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, said the passion on both sides just hours after Chavez's funeral raised fear of far worse to come in the weeks ahead.

"You can expect during the campaign that these rages will be unleashed," she said.

In his speech after his swearing-in, Maduro took shots at the United States, the media, international capitalism and domestic opponents he often depicted as treacherous. He claimed the allegiance of Venezuela's army, referring to them as the "armed forces of Chavez," despite the constitution barring the military from taking sides in politics.

The opposition has denounced the transition as an unconstitutional power grab, and Capriles said his side was studying its strategy for the vote, which will be held in the shadow of the government's efforts to immortalize Chavez. Since his death, the former paratrooper has been compared to Jesus Christ and early 19th century Venezuelan liberator Simon Bolivar, and the government announced that his body would be embalmed and put on eternal display.

Observers voiced mounting concern about the deep political divide gripping Venezuela, with half of it in a near frenzy of adulation and the other feeling targeted.

"Everything that happened yesterday (with the funeral and Maduro's speech) are outward signs of a fascistic aesthetic, complete with armbands," said Vicente Gonzalez de la Vega, a professor of law at Caracas' Universidad Metropolitana. "It is the cult of the adored leader, an escape from reality ... They are trying to impose on the rest of the country a new, pagan religion."

He said the ruling party was playing with fire with its strong nationalistic rhetoric and the implication that a vote against Maduro was somehow subversive.

Capriles, too, has used emotionally charged language in his public comments. On Friday he denounced Maduro as a shameless liar who had not been elected by the people, and condescendingly referred to him as "boy."

Opposition figures have said they are concerned about the election's fairness, particularly given the public vows of allegiance to Chavez from senior military officials. Capriles lost to Chavez in Oct. 7 elections, but he garnered 45 percent of the vote, which was the most anyone ever won against the late president.

A boycott of 2005 legislative elections was widely seen as disastrous for the opposition, letting Chavez's supporters win all 167 seats and allowing him to govern unimpeded by any legislative rivals.

In the streets Saturday, Venezuelans said they expected the opposition to take part in the poll, which will decide the president for the next six years.

"They will be present, yes, they will take part in the election," said Benito Villalba, a 62-year-old retiree who said he would vote for Maduro.

Others said they were nervous about what the election could bring.

"I am afraid something bad will happen, that violence will be unleashed," said Greymar Salazar, a 29-year old house wife and opposition supporter. "There are many people who are unhappy with what happened with (the swearing-in of) Maduro."

Atari 2600 converted into twoofakind iOS speaker docks

There's few things more heartbreaking to gamers than an Atari 2600 whose original components have given up the ghost. UK craftsman Peter Morris must not want all that faux wood to go to waste, as he recently converted two broken 2600 systems into speaker docks for the iPad and iPhone. Both include digital amps to improve the tunes, a line-in jack and both on-device as well as remote controls. We'd love to have either of them providing the soundtrack to our Pong sessions, although pure logistics may work against us: the iPad and iPhone docks are unique examples that ship from Morris' UK homeland at respective prices of £180 ($269) and £150 ($224). As such, there will likely be just a few Brits who'll get to mix modern sound with their childhood Combat memories.

No Google Glasses allowed, declares dive bar

Google?s high-tech augmented reality ?Project Glass? spectacles are still in development, and not available for purchase. But Seattle?s 5 Point Cafe is getting ahead of the game ? and fueling a debate over privacy ? by banning the devices from the bar in advance.

The 5 Point posted this message on its Facebook page this week: ?For the record, The 5 Point is the first Seattle business to ban in advance Google Glasses. And a** kickings will be encouraged for violators.?

Why is the 5 Point doing this?

?I?m a thought leader,? jokes Dave Meinert, owner of the 5 Point, speaking on the Luke Burbank Show at GeekWire news partner KIRO-FM Friday morning. ?First you have to understand the culture of the 5 Point, which is a sometimes seedy, maybe notorious place. People want to go there and be not known ... and definitely don?t want to be secretly filmed or videotaped and immediately put on the Internet.?

He admits, ?Part of this is a joke, to be funny on Facebook, and get reaction. But part of it?s serious, because we don?t let people film other people or take photos unwanted of people in the bar, because it is kind of a private place that people go.?

Meinert notes that the 5 Point is near Amazon, and acknowledges that ?tech geeks? have been known to patronize the bar. ?It?s OK if you wear them,? he says. ?I just don?t want them worn inside.?

Presumably this rule would apply to Seattle?s notorious Creepy Cameraman, too.

Check out the original post on GeekWire for Luke Burbank?s full interview with Meinert. See KIRO Radio for more.

Fandango debuting online video series, buzz Indicator

LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Online ticket seller Fandango is rolling out a new movie buzz indicator and its second original digital video series, "Weekend Ticket."

The company made the announcement Thursday night at the South By Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Tex.

"Weekend Ticket" will be hosted by Fandango's chief correspondent Dave Karger. The first episode will be filmed at SXSW and will include interviews with Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, Olivia Wilde, Paul Walker, Josh Duhamel and Paul Rudd.

Also featured on the show and the site will be Fanticipation, a new online tool that will gauge moviegoers' interest levels prior to a film's release and help predict if it is likely to connect at the box office.

Released each Thursday, Fanticipation will rank upcoming films based on Fandango's proprietary data collected from its online and mobile traffic, the social media engagement of its fans and the site's advance ticket sales.

"Fanticipation captures Fandango's unique ability to tap into moviegoer buzz and will be a great feature for both the industry and consumers," said Fandango president Paul Yanover. "SXSW, where entertainment meets technology, is the perfect place to debut this one-of-a-kind new feature."

"Weekend Ticket" follows on the heels of Fandango's first original video series, "The Frontrunners." Also hosted by Karger, "The Frontrunners" is a seasonal show covering news, predictions, reactions, snubs and surprises of the movie awards season.

Fandango is an NBCUniversal company.

North Koreans attend a rally in support of a statement given on Tuesday by a spokesman for the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army vowing to cancel the 1953 cease-fire that ended the Korean War as well as boasting of the North's ownership of "lighter and smaller nukes" and its ability to execute "surgical strikes" meant to unify the divided Korean Peninsula, at Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang, North Korea, on Thursday, March 7, 2013. North Korea on Thursday vowed to launch a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the United States, amplifying its threatening rhetoric hours ahead of a vote by U.N. diplomats on whether to level new sanctions against Pyongyang for its recent nuclear test. (AP Photo/Jon Chol Jin)

(AP) ? The U.N. Security Council responded swiftly to North Korea's latest nuclear test by punishing the reclusive regime Thursday with tough, new sanctions targeting its economy and leadership, despite Pyongyang's threat of a pre-emptive nuclear strike on the United States.

The penalties came in a unanimous resolution drafted by the U.S. along with China, which is North Korea's main benefactor. Beijing said the focus now should be to "defuse the tensions" by restarting negotiations.

The resolution sent a powerful message to North Korea's new young leader, Kim Jong Un, that the international community condemns his defiance of Security Council bans on nuclear and ballistic tests and is prepared to take even tougher action if he continues flouting international obligations.

"Taken together, these sanctions will bite, and bite hard," U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice said. "They increase North Korea's isolation and raise the cost to North Korea's leaders of defying the international community."

The new sanctions came in response to North Korea's underground nuclear test on Feb. 12 and were the fourth set imposed by the U.N. since the country's first test in 2006. They are aimed at reining in Pyongyang's nuclear and missile development by requiring all countries to freeze financial transactions or services that could contribute to the programs.

The resolution also targets North Korea's ruling elite by banning all nations from exporting expensive jewelry, yachts, luxury automobiles and race cars to the North. It also imposes new travel sanctions that would require countries to expel agents working for sanctioned North Korean companies.

The success of the sanctions could depend on how well they are enforced by China, where most of the companies and banks that North Korea is believed to work with are based.

Tensions with North Korea have escalated since Pyongyang launched a rocket in December and conducted last month's nuclear test ? the first since Kim took charge. Many countries, especially in the region, had hoped he would steer the country toward engagement and resolution of the dispute over its nuclear and missile programs. Instead, the North has escalated its threats.

Immediately before the Security Council vote, a spokesman for Pyongyang's Foreign Ministry said the North will exercise its right for "a pre-emptive nuclear attack to destroy the strongholds of the aggressors" because Washington is "set to light a fuse for a nuclear war."

The statement was carried by the North's official Korean Central News Agency, which issued no comment after the vote.

In the capital of Pyongyang, Army Gen. Kang Pyo Yong told a crowd of tens of thousands that North Korea is ready to fire long-range nuclear-armed missiles at Washington, which "will be engulfed in a sea of fire."

White House spokesman Jay Carney said the U.S. is "fully capable" of defending itself against a North Korea ballistic missile attack.

Experts doubt that the North has mastered how to mount a nuclear warhead on a ballistic missile capable of reaching the mainland United States.

The North Korean statement appeared to be the most specific open threat of a nuclear strike by any country against another. Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, called the threat "absurd" and suicidal.

North Korea also has threatened to scrap the cease-fire that ended the 1950-53 Korean War. It has a formidable array of artillery near enough to the Demilitarized Zone to strike South Korean and American forces with little warning.

The top U.S. envoy on North Korea, Glyn Davies, cautioned Pyongyang not to miscalculate, saying the U.S. will take necessary steps to defend itself and its allies, including South Korea, where it bases more than 30,000 U.S. forces.

"We take all North Korean threats seriously enough to ensure that we have the correct defense posture to deal with any contingencies that might arise," Davies told reporters.

Rice said "the entire world stands united in our commitment to the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and in our demand that North Korea comply with its international obligations."

China's U.N. Ambassador Li Baodong said the resolution reflects the determination of the international community to prevent nuclear proliferation, but he stressed that its adoption "is not enough."

"The top priority now is to defuse the tensions, bring down heat ... bring the situation back on the track of diplomacy, on negotiations," Li said.

The resolution stresses the Security Council's commitment "to a peaceful, diplomatic and political solution" to North Korea's nuclear program and urges a resumption of the long-stalled six-party talks involving both Koreas, the U.S., China, Russia and Japan.

South Korea's U.N. Ambassador Kim Sook said North Korea's threats and inflammatory statements will be dealt with "resolutely."

"North Korea must wake up from its delusion of becoming a ... nuclear weapons state and make the right choice," he said. "It can either take the right path toward a bright future and prosperity, or it can take a bad road toward further and deeper isolation and eventual self-destruction."

Russia's U.N. Ambassador Vitaly Churkin also warned that "new threats or trying to build up the military muscle in the region ... might be taking us away from the need to resume six-party talks," which he added must be an international priority of all countries.

In addition to the sanctions, the resolution bans further ballistic missile launches, nuclear tests "or any other provocation," and demands that North Korea return to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. It condemns all of North Korea's ongoing nuclear activities, including its uranium enrichment.

It strengthens inspections of suspicious cargo heading to and from the country, calls on states to step up "vigilance" of possible illegal activity by North Korean diplomats.

To get around financial sanctions, North Koreans have been carrying around large suitcases filled with cash to move illicit funds. The resolution expresses concern that these bulk cash transfers may be used to evade sanctions. It clarifies that the freeze on financial transactions and services that could violate sanctions applies to all cash transfers as well as the cash couriers.

The resolution identifies three individuals, one corporation and one organization that will be added to the U.N. sanctions list. The targets include top officials at a company that is the country's primary arms dealer and main exporter of ballistic missile-related equipment, and a national organization responsible for research and development of missiles and probably nuclear weapons.

Main Street Gazette: World News Roundtable - 7 March 2013

Newly designed guide maps appeared at Disney World this week, the first major re-design in a few years. In addition to the new information provided the general 'look' of park landscape has been drastically revamped. For those of you familiar with the My Disney Experience app, these new maps have a very similar look. Much more sleek and less convoluted than before, I find the new layout very practical for day guests... though the photos and information section can get a little jumbled. One thing that seems a little strange is the exclusion of the new "Tangled toilets" soon to appear in Fantasyland... strange.

I am very vocal when it comes to accessories. I've passed on the Dooney and Bourke bags because, for the money, I won't be using them much when not in the theme parks. If you want to call cosmetics an accessory (and I think you can), I can't imagine pulling out a Beautifully Disney lip gloss in the middle of happy hour in New York and being taken seriously. But, I'm here to say: I like the "coming soon" Vera Bradley collection.

Like the recent LeSportsac partnership, Vera just makes sense. Her designs are bright and busy already and the addition of Mickey Mouse isn't jarring. Plus the material is washable and as a bag, Vera is more affordable than the other "designer" options. I'm not sure why Disney feels the need to pair up with all these big names all of a sudden. Frankly, it's starting to feel like too much too soon but I have to applaud this choice. While Vera's style isn't for everyone (I mostly use these bags for traveling), I'm looking forward to seeing them down in theme parks.

This week, the Disney Company released a new game for the iPhone/iPad/iPod called Toy Story Smash-it!? It has a $0.99 price tag on it and I generally am not one to spend money on a game when there are tons of great mobile games that you can get for free, but I took a shot on this one and I am glad I did.

This is an incredibly fun game.? It?s a physics based game similar in concept to Angry Birds, but in this case you?re playing as Buzz Lightyear and you?re launching the Pixar ball at the little green aliens from Pizza Planet.? As the game progresses, new obstacles, weapons, and techniques are introduced which prevent the game from getting stale.? It is a truly addictive game as well.? I downloaded the game, and within days, I had completed all four of the current levels and achieved the perfect score for each level.? At this point, I am eagerly awaiting an update so that I can continue playing this game.? This is one of the best purchases I?ve made for my iPad and if you?re an owner of any Apple mobile devices, I highly recommend you give this one a try.?

College Program Cuts Presentantions

?Blake Taylor

The Disney College Program will no longer offer on-campus presentations to promote recruitment. The program, first began in the '80s, offers college students the opportunity to intern for a semester as a Disneyland or Walt Disney World Cast Member, earning course credit for their work and taking optional Disney-geared classes. Up until the current spring 2013 semester, 45-minute presentations held on campuses across the country highlighted what the DCP was all about for interested students. Now, Disney will focus more of its attention instead on things like information tables in campus common areas that can refer students directly to the application website.

The news comes from Cast Member representatives at such an information table at my school when I asked them when the next presentation would be. I'm a bit surprised at this decision, partially because the presentation I attended in the fall did an excellent job at summing up not only the College Program itself, but also the benefits and opportunities it can lead to. My friends who attended the presentation weren't aware of the potential doors that can be opened in career areas like recreation or broadcast journalism if the DCP is on their resume. That reason for participating as a Disney intern?to build stepping stones to a broader career?is something I felt that the presentation really drove home better than the website. No matter, with or without info presentations, the DCP will still get the word out. More booths and tables means more built-in Disney background music... which consequently means I know where I'll be studying more often.

Avengers Assemble! After the announcement that Disney acquired Marvel many moons ago, many many Disney fans (myself included) were hoping the Avengers might assemble in Walt Disney World in a new themed land somewhere. Heck, we would have even been happy with Disneyland. And last Wednesday, at long last, Disney finally announced plans for a Marvel-themed land. At Hong Kong Disneyland.

Dang.

I mean, it's great, really! Hong Kong is the smallest of the parks and has a real need to pull in more visitors with more money. The new additions of Toy Story land and then Grizzly Gulch have been well-received and those alone are enough for me to pine to visit the park. Soon, they will introduce their own twist on The Haunted Mansion, Mystic Manor in the new Mystic Point land. However, HKDL is still the smallest of the parks and to compete with the nearby (because everything in Hong Kong is nearby) mountaintop Ocean Park, bigger is better. (If you aren't familiar with Ocean Park, Google some images. It's really something else).

So, I'm happy for Hong Kong Disneyland. Really. I'm very happy. But, you know... couldn't we have at least a S.H.I.E.L.D. walkthrough or something? Maybe a boutique where you can get your own eye patch and scar. Or they can make you look like Scarlett Johansson! Or better yet, they could make my wonderful spouse look like Iron Man? Please? Pretty please?

No?

Dang.

Fresh from the Garden

In previous years, the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival has had food available. You know, that little snack bar inside the Festival Center? If you don't remember it, don't feel bad, it was never that busy. This year, however, Epcot made the decision to highlight have things grown in the garden can be infused into menu items that are delicious to eat and drink!

I'm sure you've heard of the Dole Whips floating in some spiced rum, especially since the lines were ridiculously long to try one of these limited time treats yesterday, but that's not where the story ends. All-in-all there are twelve marketplace kiosks scattered about Epcot featuring items from tomato salads, spring pancakes, candied strawberries, smoked brisket, a frozen violet lemonade, and much more!

Sure, I'm having a hard time saying the name without calling it the Food and Flower Festival, but that doesn't mean I'm not thrilled about the influx of food for the festival. During the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival each fall, the gardens are just as gorgeous as they are in the spring, so why not bring food that is just as delicious to the spring? Sure, this could be seen as the homogenization of the festivals, but I'd like to think it is simply a way to highlight all of the things that come from the gardens. Food and flowers also happen to be two things that Epcot does as well as anyone!
